Haryani Haron is a Professor, Dean of Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences and Head of Industrial Informatics Research Group at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).  She obtained her PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), certified technologist by Malaysian Technologist Board and certified Alibaba Masters Trainer in e-commerce.

She actively promotes e-commerce education in university and community, set up of the e-commerce ecosystem in Shah Alam and completed a consultancy project on e-commerce penetration in the retailing industry in Malaysia.

Professor Dr Haryani conducts researches in the areas of informatics, knowledge management and e-commerce focusing on the use of technology for quality of life.
